Once upon a time, in a small town, lived a boy named Russ Halsey. Russ, or Hals Russey, was always finding himself in various kinds of mischief at school.

One sunny and lively morning, Russ decided to play a prank on his classmates. He placed a rubber spider in the teacher’s drawer. When Mr. Smith, the friendly and understanding teacher, opened the desk drawer, she let out a small scream, making the whole class burst into laughter.

Another day, Russ brought his pet frog to school. He let his friends see it during break time, and everyone was thrilled. They called the frog Jumper.
